Accessibility Statement<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

1. Introduction<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This accessibility statement applies to the website https:\/\/www.bike-alpeadria.eu\/<\/a>, which promotes the development of cycling tourism in the cross-border area along the Adriabike (Kranjska Gora\u2013Ravenna), D7 (Robi\u010d\u2013Jel\u0161ane), and FVG3 (Pedemontana) cycle routes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We aim to make the website accessible to the widest possible range of users and have therefore ensured that it is accessible to users with various forms of disabilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Level of Compliance<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The website is partially compliant with the requirements of the Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications Act (Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia, No. 30\/18, 95\/21 \u2013 ZInfV-A, 189\/21 \u2013 ZDU-1M and 18\/23 \u2013 ZDU-1O; hereinafter: ZDSMA), as a small portion of the content does not meet all accessibility requirements specified by the law. Exceptions and deviations are listed in section 4 of this statement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In upgrading the website and its content, we follow the international Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, which are divided into three levels of compliance: A, AA, and AAA. Our goal is to be at least level AA compliant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Website Accessibility Features<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

From the perspective of web accessibility requirements, the website includes various adjustments in the following areas:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3.1. Perceivable<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Goal: All information and parts of the website must be presented to users in ways that they can perceive, meaning that the information must not be invisible to the senses they use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3.1.1. Time-based Media<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The website does not contain non-adapted time-based media.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3.1.2. Adaptability<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The website content is mostly adaptable and can be used in different ways without loss of information. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are some exceptions where the implementation is less suitable for blind and visually impaired users who rely on screen readers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3.1.3. Distinguishability<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The text on the website adjusts well at high magnifications. The site has good contrast (at least 4.5:1).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3.2. Operable<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Goal: The components of the user interface and navigation must be operable, meaning users must be able to use the interface without specific interaction requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3.2.1. Keyboard Accessibility<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Keyboard navigation is partially supported, though in some areas it is limited.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3.2.2. Enough Time to Read Content<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The website does not contain time-limited content that has not been adapted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3.2.3. Seizure<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The website does not contain intrusive ads or aggressive content that could cause negative reactions or seizures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3.2.4. Navigation<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The website layout is logical, with a header at the top and a footer at the bottom of the page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The site includes a breadcrumb trail that shows users where they are.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is a secondary navigation level (embedding content from other platforms) which is partially accessible by keyboard, but with limitations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3.3. Understandable<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Goal: Information and user interface operations must be understandable, meaning that users must be able to comprehend both the content and how to interact with it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3.3.1. Readability<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The website is readable and understandable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3.4. Functionality Across Applications<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The website works with different browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari) and mostly functions the same across them.It is also accessible via mobile devices (e.g., Android, iPhone, iPad).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. Deviations and Exceptions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Some published content does not fully comply with ZDSMA requirements. Examples include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4.1. Text Alternatives<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Some images and videos lack full text alternatives. These will be addressed based on priority.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4.2. Navigation \/ Keyboard Accessibility<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The site includes a secondary navigation layer for displaying third-party content. The site administrator has no control over this third-party content and cannot ensure full compliance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4.3. Forms \/ Contact Forms<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Some forms (embedded third-party forms) do not properly highlight incorrectly filled fields. The administrator has no control over the functionality of third-party forms and cannot ensure full compliance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
