Accessibility Statement
1. Introduction
This accessibility statement applies to the website https://www.bike-alpeadria.eu/, which promotes the development of cycling tourism in the cross-border area along the Adriabike (Kranjska Gora–Ravenna), D7 (Robič–Jelšane), and FVG3 (Pedemontana) cycle routes.
We aim to make the website accessible to the widest possible range of users and have therefore ensured that it is accessible to users with various forms of disabilities.
2. Level of Compliance
The website is partially compliant with the requirements of the Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications Act (Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia, No. 30/18, 95/21 – ZInfV-A, 189/21 – ZDU-1M and 18/23 – ZDU-1O; hereinafter: ZDSMA), as a small portion of the content does not meet all accessibility requirements specified by the law. Exceptions and deviations are listed in section 4 of this statement.
In upgrading the website and its content, we follow the international Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, which are divided into three levels of compliance: A, AA, and AAA. Our goal is to be at least level AA compliant.
3. Website Accessibility Features

The site includes a breadcrumb trail that shows users where they are.
There is a secondary navigation level (embedding content from other platforms) which is partially accessible by keyboard, but with limitations.

Goal: Information and user interface operations must be understandable, meaning that users must be able to comprehend both the content and how to interact with it.
3.3.1. Readability
The website is readable and understandable.
3.4. Functionality Across Applications
The website works with different browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari) and mostly functions the same across them.
