Description
Circle around Bovec
A didactic path along the Bovec Basin is appropriate for anyone, although there is a short ascent and some exposed parts – this can be done also holding your bike with hands. It takes you past the Virje and Boka Waterfalls, cycle along the Soča beauty through the confluence and Soča and Koritnica Gorges, visit the airport, an open-air museum of the World War I, while admiring the Julian mountains, such as Kanin, Rombon and also Triglav.
On the square, you ascend on the top of the settlement passing the church towards Plužna village on the road for the Kanin ski resort, but you split off on the left for the village Plužna with the artificial dam and Virje Waterfall. Turn left in the village and descend past the golf course up to the main road. Continue up to the turning for Log Čezsoški, having a view on the mighty Boka Waterfall, where you cross the Soča River and return in direction of Bovec towards the village Čezsoča. Ride through the village, at the end of which continue straight forward to the hamlet Jablenca. After it, a walkway splits off to the left up to the bridge over Soča. After crossing the bridge, turn left and cross the next bridge over the Koritnica River. This part of the path is undoubtedly attractive, but demands a great deal of attention while crossing the bridges and going over exposed parts. Return from Vodenca to Bovec on a tarmac road, but before that turn right on a rut, and soon turn left so that you cross the road after Čezsoča and make a circle around the Bovec Airport. Return in the centre of Bovec and then leave it in direction towards Log pod Mangrtom along a rut, cross the main road at the open-air museum Ravelnik and return Bovec under the slope with the same name.

Description
Visit of the Natisone River, suitable for bathing, is the most beautiful by bike
The tour mainly takes you across Kobariško Blato (mud of Kobarid), a marshland, which was dried up. Once there used to be mills and Kobarid railway line to Cividale del Friuli / Čedad ran. Today, a didactic and cycling route takes place in this area, rich with flora and fauna species, and where you can enjoy the marvellous views of the long cresp of Stol and mighty walls of Krn. The ruts are ideal for the cyclists, who set off to Breginj Combe and further on to Veneto or only to the Nadiža River. The river with a torrential character with the source under Stol, which decides to turn towards Cividale del Friuli / Čedad at the foothills of Matajur, is one of the warmest Alpine rivers. Follow it from its gorges to the natural swimming bath at Robič, the first heaven for bathers, since, according to the oral tradition, the river has also a healing power – and especially after an exhausting biking tour.
In Kobarid, turn to the local road after the village Svino, which you reach on the only short and mild ascent, turn right in the village and descend to the next village, squeezed under Matajur. Keep on the left side through the village Sužid so that you go again on the rut, which takes you towards the village Robič. Before the village turn right on the road for Breginj, but you leave it immediately and go left through the village Kred. On this point, you can decide for a more demanding circular cycling route through Breginj and back on the Nadiža River. After the village Kred, stay on the right side to reach the picturesque gorges, drive past numerous pools up to the swimming bath in the village Robič. In order to go back on the cycling route, where you have already cycled, you must cycle on the main road for a while, and between the villages Sužid and Svino you return on the trail that guides you in the middle of Kobariško Blato and not on the right through the village Svino.

Description
From the Soča River in the heart of the Tolmin mountains
Start to cycle from Tolmin along a short section of STKP – Slovenian tour cylcling path, up to the confluence of Tolminka and Soča Rivers. The initial tracks right by the emerald river are followed by the macadam roads by the Soča River under the village Garbje. From there, you cycle on a paved road up to the village Volarje just for a while and again, looking for non-paved roads by the Soča River and Volar Brook up to the village Selišče. Then, a bit longer paved road section (~10 km, of which 8 km of ascent) awaits you through the villages Kamno, Vrsno and Krn, up to the hut on the Kuhinja Mountain pasture at the height of 1002 m.
In the mountain hut you can refresh yourself with a hot drink and meal as well as stay overnight. From the hut, continue along the trail of the 9th stage of STKP in direction of the Pretovč Mountain pasture (~ a 3 km-long ascent with a steep and bad road surface) and straight on up to the Medrje Mountain pasture, where a short rest is recommended while tasting mountain pasture good home-made delicacies (home-made curd, cheese). Hereinafter, a long and beautiful descent along “mulatieri” and herdsman’s trails, passing mountain pastures Laška seč and Črče up to Javorce, where a stop and visit of the St. Spirit Church is possible, and lower up to the Polog Valley, where you can see the Italian bunkers from the period of the Rapallo border.
Continuing of the tour is “merely a formality”, since a macadam of slight inclines follows in direction of Zatolmin. Right before the hamlet Ralne, direct one more time on a shorter and a bit “mtb-spiced up” descent up to the entrance point for Tolmin Gorges and from there, across Loče up to the starting point in Tolmin.
